It wasnt meant in the way your pretending to perceive it, you did however point out a shortcoming in the human race as a whole i'm sure.
I cant think of one person, including myself, that does not generalise... and by doing this, they (myself and you included ) are being unfair on a number of people.
Sometimes, there is no way around generalising and we just have to realise that nothing personal is meant.. However, the larger the generalisation the more unfair it is.
I cant think of many larger generalisations than an entire religion, based on a few thousand bad eggs.

Whatever you may say, irrelevant right or wrong, this way of fighting is highly effective. As politicians are not likely to change their mindes on this matter, either by threats or hostile actions as their aren't directly endangered, the society is bound to react more lively, however that's not too good, and press the goverment to withdraw the forces.

It was right over the middle of the plate, though....
As an adjunct to the caveat against generalizing, I would also importune our fellow board-members to continue to use judgement, however.
Non-judgementalism is terribly over-rated.
I once experimented with non-judgementalism while perusing a menu at a two-star eatery in rural Georgia and ended up eating fried okra.
Never (NEVER) again.

Occasionally you forget to factor in 9/11.
Our nation has been swept by an entirely new set of generalizations.
