Delphi Borland in 14 days.pdf
that should get you started. I would also consider pascal as a language since it is what delphi is built on. as far as i know delphi is just object pascal.

Well, yes Delphi is kind of Object Pascal, but comparing Delphi with Pascal, is doing injustice wo it. Delphi has its own set of keywords, new ones added, and completely different syntax from most of the other languages. But what I like most about it, is that once you get used to it all, you just won't feel like quitting it
I was a hardcore C-Programmer, when until one day I tried Delphi. Now the Lion has tasted BLOOD and there's no way to go back, not at all.

@hasnain have you ever used kylix. is it worth a download if you have?
It seems to me the rad tool combined with the fact that it can use pascal and delphi that it will mean making simple programs with a nice gui should be a peice of piss.

Although Delphi is a Windows language, you still probably want to learn Pascal first if you're a complete Delphi n00b. Look for Pascal tutorials on the web, there are lots... then go on to Delphi.
