If that's the case then it only supports PC2700 RAM which is 333MHz.

No. Its actually very good but more expensive than nessasary.

now i need to fix the slow boot up for some reason it takes long at the disk checking part when booting

Go into the BIOS and see the settings for drive detection. If you can set the drive configuration manually rather than auto, it might speed up your startup.
