I have a problem with my receiver. It keeps saying please insert a valid access card. I have tried multiple cards from various receivers but it keeps saying the same thing. Any one here have satellite ever had that problem.

I have had direct tv for a while and it has never done this, know of a quick fix? I already tried swiping the card a few times. :helpsmile:

satellite providers often send a disruption signals to disable illlegal chips

are you sure urs is authentic?

otherwise you should contact ur provider for help

Ya not really forum material, could be a number of things, all of which we can't really find teh answer for without your providor. Just call their tech support (if it is legite card).

Remove card power off the box leave 1 min power up put card in if hack card needs new codes if proper card contact them..

If your using one of those old HU cards (Card wiith football guy in front), they don't work anymore
