3ivx Legal?

Just wanted to know 3ivx costs around 19 bucks for encoding/decoding how come it comes free with K-Lite codec pack? Same goes for Divx

well, obviously, just as Kazaa Lite is in the grey area of legality, so is this codec pack. if you want to (and especially feel the need to) pay for it, be my guest.

Only AAC encoding in 3ivx costs money and that's not included in K-Lite.
