I have downloaded several songs recently and they either download and there is a loud screech or there is no sound at all even though it seems like the song is playing. Am I stupid or is this normal bs from the music companies?

Most likely they are corrupt files, try using the search function to find more about this increasing habbit.
there was a pinned topic about this They should put it back
But if you're really a big fan of downloading music, try soulseek!(go to musicworld to find out more)

I've been d/l'ing different songs and noticed they've been coming out all choppy.. I've had the screeching before and figured they were d/l'ing to fast or something..
Could my copy of kazaa lite be bad or something . It's happening on every song lately!! :/
try soleseek bittorrent or mirc for real files
If your going to use K Lite then try using this:

I cant believe were still getting topics about this.
Hey, a lot of folks are new at this. Did you ever ask for advice??? If it's too much trouble for you then find something else to do.
What I can't understand is why do other P2P's not have these files ?
And why can't people with say more than 2 fake MP3's be barred (temproarily) from K Lite till they remove them ?
