anyone know how to tell from the contents of XP Pro cd image (bin, iso, etc), whether it is purely xp pro or already slipstreamed with SP1/SP2?

Please be kind to the noobs...we were once them after all
if you mount the image or burn the image to disc then look at the volume label of the disc then look for it here
There are 10 types of people in the world those who understand binary and those who dont
but how would that make any difference to the contents?Originally posted by ObiWan@27 June 2004 - 22:30

there is a unique label for each version of windows (i think)
ie.
windows XP Pro Corp NO SP has the volume label WXPVOL_EN
windows XP Pro Corp SP 1 has the volume label XRMPVOL_EN
windows XP Pro Corp SP 1a has the volume label X1APVOL_EN

officially, yes...Originally posted by ObiWan@27 June 2004 - 23:43

but i have a slipstreamed copy of winxp with the label WXPVOL_EN
so, this can't be the best way to differentiate them
how bout the contents? .ini files? help files?
anything that can tell whether it contains sp1 or not?
