Thread: Burning Svcd Question

  1. #1
Bear with me please, first time I have done this. I have managed to take an Xvid movie with AC3 sound, converted the sound file to MP2, converted the Xvid to an SVCD file using TMPEnc saved the SVCD to my hard drive. The SVCD movie plays without any problems on my computer, now for the stupid question, I want to burn the SVCD to a CD-R 700 meg disc using Nero, when the wizard starts up in Nero and asks what I want to do, do I treat this burn as a data cd or should I select some other cd format?
    Thanks

No, don't burn it as a data file. In the wizard there should be an option for "other formats". Click that, then choose Super Video CD (SVCD). If you only see the option "Video CD" (VCD), then you need the SVCD plugin. You can buy this from the Nero website, or download it from Kazaa.
