there are loads of different ways to do it

vcdeasy and gordon knot are good packages that will do it all for you once you whack the sttings in.

or you could use the usually selection of tools to do it.

vstrip/smartripper/dvdecrypt to rip the vobs out.
then tmpegec to convert them to mpegs

easy and does it straight to DivX
