Unbuffered has a higher latency, therefore slower to react, but the difference would hardly be noticed in realworld apps and stuff like that. (google it for more info).

Registered&#092;ECC ram is error checking ram. Some althlon fx motherboards, and im sure other ones too, require this memory. It is a little slower, so not recomended for gaming PCs, but is usually a must for high-end servers. (again u can google this and find tons of info)
