My ISP has imposed a 3 gig bandwith cap on all ADSL connections, once you go over the 3 gigs, your internet gets slowed to an unbelivable rate. Are there anyways to get around this cap and download/upload all I want without comprimising connectivity or speed?

who is ur isp anyways? looks like it's an isp that sells bandwidth (often not a good isp that does this)

if you want unlimited bandwidth I'd suggest you switch isp

Are there limits on the traffic?

Yes. Imaginet fought Telkom over the imposed 3gb (3 gigabyte) traffic cap, but there is little one company can do against the government backed monopoly of Telkom. What this means is that after you have used 3 gigabytes of traffic (to or from your PC) your connection will be put onto a limited network shared with everyone who has exceeded the limit. This will still provide fairly fast access to South African sites, but international access will be much slower. Imaginet will continue to oppose Telkom on this issue and attempt to bring things more into line with international standards.

Now weep want more then get a second account no choice no f all bored then go check the score and see the prices not good.
