nsane's version is better than KLR 007.
thanks djchris,
I just need to figure out what the differences are - and most importantly what those differences mean to me - between:
Kazaa Lite K++ 2.4.5.3
&
K-Lite v2.6 RC22
&
Kazaa Lite Resurrection 0.0.7.6 (Kazaa Lite K++ 2.5.6)
&
I don't think KMD is in the mix to consider though?
...........compared to my older 007 v2.50 now
I go through this every few months and never can get a handle on whats what and who's who and which one I can really really trust.
My eyes have gone blurry from reading all the posts

nasane's install of K-Lite RC22 additionally has kazaa.exe and magnet.exe incorporated in them (standart instalation doesn't have them, so you must get them elsewhere)

Okay Autumn Fox thanx, and I see that answer as well on nsane's site (nsane.twizt3d.net) in the download section.
Thanks again to nsane for your reply - and especially for your work on the project!
thank you
..after reading everything I will use the nsane install of K-Lite v2.6 RC22
With the older resurection 007 version that i have installed now, i had some settings and especially the Columns i had set up just the way i wanted - - my question is if it's okay if i just install the 2.6 over the 007 so that I can retain my present settngs?
thank you again.
Later this Edit...
Whoops, I guess I won't use v2.6 RC22 afterall since it won't install right and gives a few errors of which I could never actually start the program either.
~Unable to execute host manager.exe
~Wouldn't start and said it was missing files and to reboot and/or reinstall which none of that helped.
~Also I didn't care for how it totally messed up my host file - i think there needs to be an option for people to choose if they do/don't want to install that host manager thingy!
Anyway, I restored every single thing that the RC22 install did, and then installed klitekpp2453.exe to try that and that worked just fine keeping all of my previous settings, etc - and so I will just use this for now.
I would of installed the Kazaa Lite Resurrection 0.0.7.6 to try also but since nsane said it had bugs i didn't try it yet - I wonder what those problems were though?

It would be nice, would it not, if the people responsible for these differing Kazaa versions would get together, compromise and simply release one coherent, truely great Kazaa-Lite product or version thereof?
Much in the way that there used to be a "Kazaa K++" and a "Kazaa-Lite". Then merging into one for the uber popular "Kazaa-Lite K++".
Just something everyone could endorse. At the moment, it is like shopping around for a good eMule or Bitorrent version. Too damn many to keep track of.
