Notepad Problem

i just installed the comp :s and then went on a crack site.... stupid

how do i get notepad to work again?

login as an account with administrative privileges, goto the notepad executable in the windows directory

click properties
hit the security tab
look if your username is in the list, if it is, click full controll, and hit apply
if it aint, press add, advanced, find, then search for your username, add it, give urself full control, apply and ok

it was a trojan horse but now its fixed stupid sites :s

now i have my avg and zonealarm up again there should be no problems

lol, well @ least it only hijacking your notepad, not explorer or somthing like that

twas ironic.... i was trying to get a serial so i can further evaluate avg and it just fucked me up

now. go get notepad2 and replace notepad.exe with it.
