Clicking On Timeline Reveals More Footage?...

sometimes when downloading porn (lets not beat about the bush) i'll download a big file, say 200MB and upon playing will find it to be only, on average, a minute or so long. however clicking on the media player timeline reveals that there is a full length movie there but for some reason i can't get it to play at the right duration. has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know if there's anything that can be done to view these files or is it a lost cause?

That can be caused by corrupted parts in the file. Those corrupted parts can be the reason why some player can't play the whole movie correctly.
