i downloaded some karaoke disks for the missus...they took their time coming in but when they did eventually download, their file size was 0kb...for all three different downloads...how can that be if information was downloaded but nothing in the files?

as you say, that info has to be somewhere. most likely in a temp file waiting to be tranferred to your permanent file - the one that is currently 0kb.
you dont say what you used to download the file. I take it some sort of filesharing app? need to know that before we can say where the data is.
I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -
