Make your own icons.
Just open whatever paint program you have (adobe, mspaint, paint shop, etc.) and set it for 48 X 48 Pixels and once you're done drawing, save it as a .gif image. And go to AIM options and select it as your avatar.
If you want you can make about 5 .gif images and make them animated using Adobe Elements 2.0 or any other software that supports .gif animation. And you have a moving avatar!!! Amazing.

i dont have aol can people still see my icon when i use aim.because i read somewhere that only paid aol customers can use icons?
all themes that aren't made by AOL are only viewable on your computer, like you cant make one / download one 3rd partywise and have your friend see it too.
