can someone tell me what a good uploading speed is on a torrent? After finishing a download that has speeds of 400 to 800 kbs it seeds at around 50 kbs....I have cable and I set my upload speed at "no limit" and thats still all I can go

Yep. And you're lucky that that's the case. Some people have much lower upload speeds!
ISPs sell packages with asymmetrical bandwidth as they deem the normal user not to need very much upload bandwidth and much more download bandwidth.

yes, the upload speed is depend on your isp, mine here is 10Mbps on docsis 1.1 cable, but my upload speed is only at 1Mbps
