I keep getting this error whenever I try to stream a media file.

What can I do to fix this?

What "media" are you trying to stream. Can you post a link?

No porn or anything...Every video file that I try to stream does that except quicktime.

Try upgrading/re-installing windows media player on your computer. Are you using codec pack or beta codec on your computer? If so you can try removing that. Untill you give more detail thats all I can say. B)

You could also try removing Windows Media player all together, then reinstalling it again if just regular reinstalling doesn't work.

To uninstall it get yourself a copy of XPLite pro, open the program, uncheck the media player box, then apply, then restart, then recheck that box and hit apply and it will install windows media player 8 (xp cd required). Then you may upgrade to 9 or whatever.

Also installing\reinstalling the klite codec pack, or getting the latest (2.2.7), might help.

Nope, that's a memory error.
I suggest downloading the Ultimate Boot CD which has a few great free memory testing tools, to be sure. You will most likely have to buy new RAM. Sorry.

Hey XG, you haven't been around in a while.

I doubt it is a memory error though...i've seen error's like those and they had nothing to do with memory for me.

Couldn't hurt to test the RAM, though.

Yeah, I've been away for a long time.
I'm not sure I'm sticking around, though. This forum has gotten very strange.
