    Is there any program out there that is better than ACID and Cool Edit Pro? I am into singing but need some help on this...

    Like I want that echo that you find in major artists cd's... this is prolly in acid and cool edit but I want a diffrent program

    Wavelab 5 has teh Lame encoder also, for mp3's.

    Shitload of ways to edit audio files.

    I mostly use it for Mastering me songs, i got the Waves effects which
    runs on Cubase SX and Wavelab.

    Great stuff, maybe not teh Greatest, but definately good Enough for me. Plus thensome.

    I tried that and found that the wafeform 'disappeared' at the higher zoom levels, so went back to v6.
    I only use it to edit neighbouring CD tracks before burning, though, so I don't know whether it'll do what the original poster wants in the way they want to do it.
