I have three videos i want to put on dvd. They are already mpg, and worked when i put them as an SVCD. I want to be able to put them on DVD, but all the DVD autors rejects them. Or wants to reencode them, and it makes it to big. What should i do? Oh each video is around 600mb each, so 2.2gigs all together.

ok so the right way to do it is to use tmpgenc plus

convert each mpeg to dvd compliant , but change the bit rate to constant bitrate (cbr)and change to 4000 or use main concept mpeg encoder to do the same thing

encode each mpeg this way and they should all fit on one dvd , also make sure you are encoding them with mpeg 2 audio and not lmpc as it will increase the file size

a 600 meg svcd mpeg will convert to about 1.3 gig with the above settings, so 3 x 1.3 gig will be 3.9 gig and will fit on your dvd

once you convert them all to dvd compliant use tmpgenc dvd author to combine then for the final dvd
