could it be that i'm not giving it enough power? something like this happened before. but this time i have the molex directly from the psu plugging into it. so it's not sharing with anything.
Two questions in two posts replied to, but neither answered.
Do you want help or not, Abu?
There isn't a bargepole long enough for me to work on [a Sony Viao] - clocker 2008
the only time artefacts don't appear is when i'm running without any drivers installed. i tried the ati drivers and the omega, neither one works. does this look like something a format of hdd will fix?
Of course it is running with drivers...just the generic MS ones, that's all.Originally posted by abu_has_the_power@7 July 2004 - 17:37

I don't know why a format would help.
I assume that you are scrubbing out the old drivers before you install the new ones?

i've tried that ati tool thing. the screen gets crazy and weird.
i'd decided it's not a driver prob cuz i just took out my 9800 and stuck my old 9600 back in and installed omega 2.5.11. works fine. no artefacts in games or anything. so this is really bad rite? is my 9800 dying on me? is there any way i can save it?
