I have to say "I Spit on Your Grave (AKA: Day of the Woman (1978)" was a disturbing film, as well as,.......
Alice in Wonderland (1976), not the one your kids watch, An X-Rated Musical Comedy - IMDB Link, I saw this one two years after it came out, at the drive-in :-0
There was also The Erotic Adventures of Pinocchio (AKA: Pinocchio (1971), it wasen't his nose that grew and the fairy god mother was HOT! IMDB Link. Also saw this at the drive-in, same time as alice in wonderland.
I saw all three of the above films at 28th street drive-in, St.Pete, Fla.
Oh how I miss the good old cheesy drive-in films
blood in blood out
proud to be american
no one seems to have seen Gods and Monsters, although it was critically acclaimed and won tonnes of awards and is absolutely beautiful...
see it, wenches.

Hudson Hawk bombed at the box office but is actually half decent.
Here "The Returner" (japanese sci-fi) is a bit of an unknown too, tho' it's quite good.
As is "My Wife is a Gangster" (Korean action/Comedy) and "Muse" (korean action taking place in the 12th century).

I still have "The Returner" on my HD to watch (actually I think you recommended it to me).
Little Big Man starring a young (post The Graduate) Dustin Hoffman and Chief Dan George. Amazing early 70's movie concerning a man who walked between the world the whites and the world of the Cheyanne ( The Human Beings) who raised him.
It's both really funny and really sad at the same time, and if you watch it you see just how much Dances with Wolves owes, since this was one of the first movies to show Native Americans, not Indians.
