I dissagree, I've seen arguments on here where a parent feels totally different about something.
I personally would not like my 7 y/o niece to see this stuff, she get scared at Buffy, this would do her brain in.

I have a 3 month old son.

I'm going to single out FHM and say I think it's fine for a kid of 10 or over to read it. that 10 year old has been talking to his friends about tits and swearing at old ladies all day anyway.

@Manker......FFS, Forget the porn!!!! Search google for "Mutilated" and take the safe search off, will you be fine knowing your son at 7 y/o or 10 y/o will read that? Would you let her?

i'm trying not to make this a my life is worse than yours arguement. you were the one who asked if i'd seen a dead body and you were the one who asked if i had any young relatives.

if my sister saw something gruesome when she was 8 i wouldnt be comfortable, but i wouldn't force her to do anything

mutilations in FHM? I dont think so. I have held a subscription since before uni, perhaps there is an odd picture of a bad injury a reader got but never mutilations.

thats why I wont let go of the pr0n!!

anyway at least we know you're not bothered by kids seing bad language in text and tits. mutilation is slightly worse, of course, so children under, say, 13 should not be exposed to it if it can be at all helped, but it wouldn't be the end of the world for most kids

I get where you at jonno....i see the point, but i wonder if what happens on

supermarketshelfs is allways a late reflection of what happens in society......

My biggest worry is not the "nudity" itself, it is the way pictures of women

can cause damage beyond your believe......

Just look at those covers......... how real is that?????


What worries me more is where we are now, the internet..............

You can say the kids can be protected, but sorry, most kids are far more

educated on their pc than their parents.......


Where i am really surprised is in our videostore. The pronsection has

no 'protection' whatsoever..........

Nothing against porn, but i see kids of 4-5 walking by those "covers", and

you might know; nothing much covered there.....

And believe me, this is not the only store like that.......

As long as it would'nt keep her awake at night or upset her right?

A child of that age in most cases would be very upset at seeing some of this stuff, and I'm saying it should'nt be so easily available in shops.
I can actually bring in the porn side of things here, as Fiesta, Over 40, Horny Housewives and Big and Black have no warning or restriction either.
I'm sure you know these are'nt just page 3 girls.

Whatever way you look at it, a child seeing Lindsey Dawn Makensie with her legs spread taking a large man is not really Ladybird reading material is it
