Cant Convert

I am using EO Video to convert movies to mpg to burn onto DVD. now I have a few movies (Cabin fever, house of the dead, and 13 going on 30 dvdrip) that when I try to convert them, EO Video just shuts down. I know that 13 going on 30 is Xvid and I was wondering if that would be the problem, with all of these movie, if I play them in real 1 and click ahead to forward them, the sound goes forward but the image jumps alot for a few seconds before it catches up. and with almost all movies that I have had that particular problem with I havent been able to convert them. Can any1 help me with this?

it doesnt work still, when i open eo video, to convert a screen pops up, plays about 5 sec of video, no sound then stops.

Try running the films thru video fixer, then use cucusoft avi to vcd dvd to convert them. then tmpgenc dvd author and burn to dvd disc with nero 6. works every time for me now.
