Everything looks great, nice choice on power supply.

    About the hard drive:
    1) Is it SATA? if not then no you do not need a poweer adaptor, if it is SATA then i am not too sure, your motherboard, hard drive, or power supply might come with one...

    2) Is it 8mb cache? it's a lot faster than a drive with 2mb cache so you might want to make sure.

    Where are you buying from?

It is a SATA with an 8 MB buffer. I'm getting everything except the case and keyboard from Newegg.

Does anyone have any experience with ThernoMaxx fans? There is one out there that has a sensor on it. Also what about the Vantec Stealth fan?

    I hate the thermo-sensor fans.

Stealths are nice, as are Sunons.

Either run your fans on 7v ( nice and quiet) or use a fan controller to speed them up/down.

YUa don't use the sensored ones i bought one about a half year ago and didn't like it cause it was always running at the slowest speed. I returned it for a cheaper non-sensored fan and it blows way more air.
I've seince replaced them with 80mm led fans though...
