is it salt or freshwater? looks like a saltwater specamin 2 me, just going by its body shape and mouth.

Indeed, a saltwater fish. although it is often described as a meal fish I didn't find it too palatable.

Still, at least after the meal I was able to say, 'thanks mam. that was brill'
