    It is a good idea though...

    @ Kai, when glasses (eye glasses) first came ouyt i bet people were saying something just like that as well: "I'd rather squint than wear those ugly things."

    Yeah but I don't think eye glasses ever stuck 6 inches out from your head!
    why not use a regular hearing aid? the ones that actually fit into the users ear.

    Cause hearing aids will hear everything aronund you...not just infront. Those things block out the back and sides...

    I think it&#39;s fairly safe to say that a regular hearing aid would be rather more effective at amplifying sound than wearing a pair of clear inverted yoghurt pots over your ears
