Sam is an intrinsically kind person, he has a huge heart and he gives a lot of himself as is clear from his role in this community. Unfortunately big hearts are easily broken and the stuff that sam is trying to deal with at the moment is not small stuff as you all know, it would test the sanity of most of us.

The drinking numbs the pain the hurt and the fear of having to deal with the issues of RL, I believe that any addiction is a replacement for love, addictions feel safe and they never let you down, but they doesn&#39;t offer an outlet for anger. This is where he can feels he can release a bit of that tension........ not all of it by any means but just enough to take off the edge. Now when one of my friends are hurting and need to be angry I have no problem in letting then scream and shout at me if it help, I would NEVER turn them away, for this amongst many other reasons I dont think that Sam should be banned.
