There was a program/plugin called EdonkeyPReview, I couldn't get it to work and when I installed it, it brought back the damn banner that I had removed with a cracked Overnet loader, so I had to uninstall and reinstall.
I just reinstalled Overnet plus the loader, but that banner is still there! How the hell do I get rid of it now! the loader also helped get me higher speeds so I hope it's just the banner that's returned and not the slow speeds!

If you can determine where on the internet the banner is, ip-wise or URL-wise (like www.banners-r-us.com) then window's HOSTS file could at least make it empty if not block it outright.
Can you right-click on the banner and choose properties?
(only possible if it's a true IE window and NOT right-click blocked.)
