I have often been "remotly queued" for downloads of certain files
(usually never happens though) Can anyone shed some light on how/why this happens???
its kinda frustrating waiting for nothing........

what do you mean "for nothing"? when it's your turn, you'll get your file, unless it's a fake it's not nothing. "remotely queued" means more than one user requested one or another file from the uploader, you have to await your turn, then your download starts. usually doesn't take too long, at least compared to edonkey queues

that sounds about right. . .
if you try to download from the fakers, klite's ip blocker will not let you connect, and you would have to find sources that aren't in the blocked ip list.

Thanx Vargas..... When not in "remotely queued" status, it does indeed indicate that it is"connecting" but it never does.....I guess I will have to get more skilled @ spotting "fakes"

"remotely queued" never lasts more than an hour. of course, the uploader can go offline, then you have to wait till he goes online again and it can take some time, but that's not what I was talking about. if the uploader is online and kazaa tells you that you are remotely queued, it should never take more than an hour for the download to start.
