From what I understand sam is an adult(and not a young 20 something either). As such he should be held accountable for his actions. Being a drunk and haveing personal problems is one thing. Expecting the mods/admin/forum members to deal with it is another.
As for being respectable and for a 17 page support thread, the support seems to be from the same small group of people spamming the same (or merged) threads. If he is so respectable, I doubt a ban would be being discussed at this time.

From what I understand you haven't even read through the thread in the lounge.
People who hold no particular allegiance to sam have posted in there too, haven't seen many people in support of his banning tho'.

30+ members showing their support is no small group:

As evidenced by IKE's earlier post, we weren't aware the ban had happened yet, the discussion was still going.
There are many other members who are not in support of the ban, some of whom have even had run ins with Sam before.

Who the hell said anything about being respectable. I didn't realise that was a stipulation of joining the board and a precursor to prevent being banned from it.
The point is that sam has vociferous support among members that have interacted with him and that there is a lot worse that goes on than an occasional drunken tirade.
I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

Samsamsamsam has been issued several warnings over time. In fact his warn level was so high (the highest of all active members) that formally a ban was long over due. We had a vote in team chat and the majority voted for a ban. The rest voted for indefinate moderation.
