For power supply get atleast 400watts, and has to be brand name else it will be crap. Enermax, Thermal Take, Zalman, Antec are all good. A few other good ones but these are the majors.

what?
He asked for a recommendation [/b][/quote]

Nice setup.

PSU:Fortron 530W - $75

As for the LCD, you might want to get Samsung's 710T - the difference between them, is that the 710T is using a DVI whilst the 710N uses an Analog input.Colours will look nicer, and there will be less ghosting with a Dvi.I've read many good things about the 710T from gamers, but the 710N should be just as good.

Your call.
You think the DVI connector is worth paying $81 more? Will it really look that much better?

If your gonna be spending that much on a monitor. You should go with the DVI. It will give a better picture.

don't waste $ getting the dual layer. get the nec one for 67 or 63 (blk or wite) and u can get a firmware hack that will allow it to do the same as ur dual layer burner. just a tip.

Will either NEC one allow you to copy copyrighted dvds?

Edit: And also, if I get the $4.99 Zalman 80mm case fans (4 of them). What exactly do they get their power from? I know the cpu fan gets them from the motherboard, but I doubt there are that many fan connecters on the motherboard. Also, won't I need some sort of extender cable for the fan to reach whatever it uses for power?

Can someone please answer my question?

Edit: Also, how do I tell if this http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc....-153-006&depa=0 power supply has a SATA power connector, also, thermaltake is a good PS brand right?

they connect to molex connectors (same thing as the power source for a hard drive or cd drive):

(The one on the left side...the right one is for a floppy drive and some video cards.)
