So does any other decent forum software.Originally posted by [Spam]@13 July 2004 - 19:58
vBulletin. Has a bunch of features.
Why? What's wrong with it? IMO, in the next coming months/years vBulletin will be put to it's death, of course by a leading competitor. :-"

True, but you may also get a cease and desist letter.

And the chances of this happens increases as you're forum becomes more popular. So just as your forum hits the big time you'll have to switch forum software (using the various importers) which is no mean feat

Im sure thats why vBulletin.org has the biggest community of members for any forum software I have ever seen, and new mods are made daily/weekly.
And Im sure that one day everyone would just wake up and say "this = shiz, bye f00s" and go away.
Totally right, Jelsoft will stop making vBulletin and go bankrupt.
[/annoyed sarcasm]
Sage goes in the signature field.
IMO, i think right now VB is the way to go...huge community of helpful members...great mods/hacks....the sky is the limit of things that can be done w/ VB.

The same can be said about other forum software.
Jelsoft dosn't own the market anymore. :-"
I remember when Infopop's UBB (Ultimate Bulltien Board) was on the top off all the message boards. Then came Ikonboard. That software was popular, until the main developer quit and decided to create IPB.
