first off, you guys must have pretty shitty systems, no offense....

Winamp 3 runs fine on every system I've seen, unless u have a 1 Ghz or below....
also depends alot on the RAM.....

personally, I have both installed on mine, and I use both.......
I know its weird, but that way I can use either one....

Winamp 2.81 may be fast, but the graphics are HORRIBLE and ANNOYING!!!
Winamp 3 may be a bit slow, but the graphics more than make up for it....

bottom line, if u can't keep up with the big boys, GET OUTTA THE WAY!!!!!!!!!

Winamp 2. is better cuz u kan be ur own dj on shoutcast... but winamp3 is just the same thing but no shoutcast and takes 10x longer to load... so id go with 2.8 or watever 2.x version is out..

The mmd3 skin is good, but the player itself is so slow...I don't see much of a reason to use 3 other then the mmd3 skin

Winamp3 Is Good in My opinion But Winamp 2 is So much simpler And i Really cant be bothered with all the faffing about and winamp 2 has the jump shortcut unlike 3 which has a search bar which is just so sh*te
