This is not a wind up, i have no idea how it happened.

I ran a divx thru Tmpeg, result = perfect audio and video, but the pictures upside down!

I'm lousy at Yoga and don't fancy heaving a 28" television upside down just to watch a vcd, so anyone any idea how I screwed up, I've converted plenty before and since and never had this ahppen before, hell I didn't think it was possible!!

ok if you have NIMO and its the 5.x version when you play a movie it should open a thingo in the system tray open it. then there should be a tick box in there that says something about flip movie on play or something like that, just tick it and you should be fine the movie will play and encode fine then. i think
