I´m using v. 4.7 for Windows XP HE. When i go to add/remove program and delete msn messenger, and restart the computer, the msn is still there. I downloaded msnmessengerplus 2 before and i wanted to take a way the message "msnplus rocks!" on the top of the chatbox so i tries to delete msn messenger and install it again but it doesn´t work

There's an option in the preference "This is a shared computer" or something like that, be sure to check if that box is selected. (I think that's what You're asking for)
Good luck,
