I use THIS PAGE to look up FTD numbers. Works for me.
I've been using newsgroups for many years now and believe it to be far and away the best source for 0-day and new 'stuff'. Only recently while my ISP's news service offered nothing but incompletes (during an upgrade that lasted about 4 months) have I tried IRC, which is OK after you've found your preferred release and got to the head of a queue.
My ISP's service has improved to the point of flawless recently and I'm very tempted to go back to it... after I've got just a few more things I see on IRC
MInd you, it'd be nice to get these things @ 95KB/sec rather than the 40- to 50KB/sec I'm seeing now.
