3d Studio Max

I have downloaded countless 3d studio max versions whether it be version
3d studio max 4,4.2 or 5

Everytime I go to extract and install I find there is either corrupt cab files or missing cab files.

Can any one please tell me where I can get any one of the above versions that they know are complete and fully working. Thanks in advance for any help.

dont get 3d studio max...

Use Maya 4.5 with fluid effects and also get the pixar renderman addon. Its so much better than 3d studio max.
