    I did it i went to 2.2ghz not sure if it's stable yet. temps are a bit bad 51 deg idle without the lid. I can't use the pc like this with no lid, I need a new heatsink and as5...

    unstable.

    You can use Folding@Home to determine if it is stable (a lot of early termination will indicate it isn't), but watch those temps.

    What heatsink are you currently using?

    Is there ANY thermal compound in there? That temp sounds pretty high even for cheap compound.

    It's unstable it crashes when i'm doing things like listen to music and stuff BSOD

    I would say, get some arctic silver compound and then try upping the core voltage a bit.

    u should take the motherboard out so u don't break it although it is possible to do it with it in.

    don
    't replace heatsink until after you've found, bought and tried some arctic silver though.
