User Ranks - Update

I don't like these new names. But OK. But these new stars 1, 3 & 5. It's wrong. Please bring back stars 2 & 4. Hope you'll consider this VB. TY

I hate these new ranks

It doesn't matter what kind of ranking system you do, there's always going to be SPAM about it. If you remove it completely, everyone's going to whine about it. If you alter it, everyone (including me) is going to whine about it too. If you keep it, everyone's gonna whine yet again.

But i think this new system sucks more than the old one because, for me at least, start DO matter, it's one thing if you spam to get 1000 posts and it's another if you post useful stuff to get there, and if you do the latter, it really sucks if you aren't even rewarded with a simple silly happiness in the form of an extra star. Besides, the names 'Newcomer', 'Member' and 'Senior Member' are really lame...

I think the three level system is fine but we need to come up with netter names for them.

1.member
2.sr. member
3.klite board god
I think this would be better

I really don't see what the big deal is here. I mean, you come to this forum to get information or to help people. The ranking system is hardly relevant. It's not sure at all that a 'board god' knows more than a 'newbie'.....

That's absoluty true....


i think this a real improvement, although getting rid off all the ranks (except useful onse like mod and admin..) would be better in my opinion . This discussion shows that some members are way too fond about their rank
