Thread: Floppy Drive Removed

    Well i have taken out my floppy drive and i started up the pc and i go to m computer and the floppy drive still shows up. So i went to device manager and got rid of the floppy drive by unistalling it and it went. I restarted pc and it still their.

    Do i need to also unistall the Floppy Disk contollers

    No need to uninstall the controllers...just click on the floppy drive in Device Manager and uncheck the box to "use this device".

    must be still showing because it is still installed in the bios.
    go in there and select no floppy or something similar.

    i did that already ???? oh well clocker advice worked fine.
