Well i logged in as normal and they all gone i check my hotmail e-mail contacts bit and its all gone what the hell happened.

Yeah, the MSN contacts are stored on the MSN server, not your HD.
No idea what happened but if they are gone from the server there is no chance of getting them back.

Yeh i know they on their sever i ain't a noob, thats why i am saying MSn deleted my contacts cos the ball is in their court.
I found a soultion in the options i had it set so only ppl on my allow list could contact me and i looked around on the settings. I brought up the list of ppl who have me added and my allow list so now the slow process of addingthem back cos they all show up.
Searching The People
You should also change your password because someone may have found it out and deleted all your contacts.
