Thread: The Red "r" Sign On Suprnova.org

    Hi guys,

    I am sorry if this has been asked before, but why is there a red "R" sign before many torrents on Supernova.org. Am i sposed to be registered to dl those torrents? and where am i sposed to register?

    Yes, you'll have to register.

    Usually the link next to the torrent file points to the right place...
    (Unless the torrent file has been posted by a moron or a torrent thief. )

    yes the red R means you need to register with the tracker in order to download. you can find the trackers url in several places.

    1. the link next to the torrent (orthough that is actually the WRONG usage for the link field)

    2. goto the DETAILS section on your bt client you will see the trackers announce url ending with /announce.php just remove the /announce.php and goto the url there.

    3. if you cant find the details section of your client just download a little app called torrentspy. IT IS NOT A BT CLIENT. but it will give you lots of usfull information on a particlar torrent file when opened with torrentspy (just google for torrentspy)
