My friend is relying on me to make him an IRC chat room. I have no experience with this but I do chat in #klchat. It is aimed at audiences using mIRC 6.03
Thanks if you can help me!

pick a server u wanna haf ur channel on...
eg. dalnet, efnet & axenet, etc.
Usually, I would go to the server's website, there did be step-bystep instructions.
For instance, I wanna haf a channel on server OzOrg (that's Aus, btw). I usually go to the website at oz.org and look thru instructions on how to start a rm.
But it usually requires you to haf a registered nick on that server that you want ur channel on. And it's usually free to register ur name. When you're done u haf to send commands to chanserv or whatever to register a rm, authenticate etc...
You either visit their website or go to their help channels...

Okay, I've come pretty close to creating it. I used "/msg chanserv register #channelname password
When I attempt to create an irc it says:
"You are not a channel operator on [#channelname]"
What do I do?
