What about having our warn level lowered for good behaviour?
It sucks that I have 10% for a minor infraction...
Yeah haave it so you can only see your own warn level,Originally posted by CornerPocket@29 July 2004 - 14:17
Would be the thought process on this. You'd better stop at making only one's own warn-level visible.
Means i didnt get any warn level raaised for 4 banningstrue, true....hopefully a 100% consistency can be achieved. And I thought you were supposed to tell us when you raised it anyhow, by pm.
That has been brought to the table too....no outcome as of yet.Originally posted by Withcheese@29 July 2004 - 09:28

I think it was going to be discussed in team chat.
additional suggestions:
make warn level visible.
if someone abuses it and plays around to see how much trouble he can get into, ban him.
use it wisely.........
I only want to see mine if their is a chance they can be lowered, else it will cause me untold grief that I have a permanent black mark against my good name.Originally posted by tralalala@29 July 2004 - 18:31

Warn levels won't become visible.
I proposed a new system some time ago. It includes lowering for good behaviour/positive contribution to the forum. And more importantly it's fairer and more consistent. It is still being discussed, but most team members agree it is the way to go in the future.

As I said before, there should be a system for rewarding the correct type of behaviour as well as one for punishing wrong-doing. That can only be good for the board. I am entirely convinced that people will return if they find the board members approachable and helpful.
I am sure the mods will notice people who are helping others and adjust their level accordingly. Rehabilitation of offenders as it were.
Can I also suggest that the Report Button can also be used in a positive way. Not only to report people for being an arse, but also to bring helpfulness to the attention of the team.
