Changing Title Of A Thread

What's the harm in letting members be able to change their own thread's title.
Why is it disabled?
it's very easy to enable. enable it.

would be able to fix a lot of typos on the board.

yeah i hate when i do a typo in the title and can't do anything about it

then some users will change the title completly and some will get confiused or wont be able to find that topic

doubt that would happen much.

besides other forums have it enabled and i don't see any problems there.

you can only change your own threads, so obviously the ones that have some info in them aren&#39;t gonna just vanish.

It&#39;s a good idea.

Then if your thread isn&#39;t getting many replies or views you can change the title to something like, &#39;Hot gypo sex&#39; and people will flock to it.

I&#39;m sure if you PM a mod and ask nicely I&#39;m sure they&#39;ll change the title for you
