Thinking of this from an influence prespective and NOT perhaps what I like (altho I do )

1: Chuck Berry did engineer a new style of guitar
2: Jimi Hendrix, he took this further and his creation of feedback/effects/whammy bar/wah wah and tone, touch can still be heard
3: Beatles. I think we all know what they done
4: Nirvana started off the whole grunge-nu metal phase
5: Anthrax/Chili's Began the whole Rap/metal sorta thing
