    notice the name of the forum is filesharing not legal tips, people here have no idea what it is best to do in a situation like this because they are not solicitors.

    I suggest you either contact one and terminate the ebay auction immediately.

    I agree. This is a filesharing community and people who try to make a profit out of this community are the scum of the earth. I hope this teaches you a valuable lesson.

    There is a certain moral ambuguity in sharing files, but trying to make money from other people's work is, and always will be, wrong.

    I would not reply to them but cancel the auction, by replying you will be admitting guilt and may leave yourself open to a well deserved round of legal action.

    Trying to sell a downloaded dvd is bad

    Selling it on e-bay is just plain stupid

    Serves you right I say!

    And telling them you weren't actually going to sell it,just cash in the money wouldn't really do you good either.
    Then they'll just sue you for fraud.
