It's been like this for a while now.
Everytime i click on a topic here or on a link,or the back/forward button it goes <<click>> through my speakers

It's annoying like hell

I don't see any options in my mouse settings that says something like "make sound when clicking something" that can be checked or unchecked

edit:..ermm...should this be in hardwareworld

hmm...asspie

I'm pretty sure I never changed a setting there, but i'll check it out.

Thanks.

edit: the only things I see checked in the explorer is 'start navigating' and 'empty bin'.
There's nothing in the whole list about the mouse or anything that looks like to be the cause of these clicking sounds

hmm...asspie

It's set when you install windows, I think.

It just kicked in a week or so ago.
But I do remember that it started happening right after I changed a cursor to a final fantasy animated one.I switched back to a regular arrow because the animated one acted all laggy on my screen.
After that the <<clicks>> have been bugging me.

goto control panel -sounds
scroll down till you see - start navigation-select it
at bottom it says sounds-select it-scroll up until - no sound
mark it ok
done

You wont get sounds when you do them.

That is all, I think
