well I was using shadows, but with newer trackers wanting updated clients, I upgraded to the newest bittornado, maybe just the peers/seed ratio but seemed slower than my "outdated" client

BitTornado here, because it's fast enough to run on a P2-400 without noticeable slowdowns.

bittornado. auto port forward and randomize. can't be beat
Bittornado is the best, I've tried them all (well almost).
